Crafting artistic freedom for the messy-haired dreamers of the world

Welcome to my creative universe at Luna Ray Design. Each brushstroke and pattern here is a love letter to powerful, messy-haired women who dare to forge their own paths, live freely, and find solace in the ocean's embrace.

Your creative journey, your rules

My artistic journey has always been steered by intuition, natural beauty, and the liberating chaos of life itself. Though I once drew inspiration from the urban landscapes of Edinburgh, my soul found its true north by the south west coast.

The rhythmic ebb and flow of the sea, the endless horizon, and the salty air have become my muses, helping me to achieve emotional and physical balance in a world that's often tilted.

The philosophy behind Luna Ray Design

I believe we're all creators of our destiny—even if we're always rushing out the door! In my life, kids, pets, and the occasional glass of red wine aren't just facts, but vital elements that fuel my creativity.

And yes, 'girl island' time is non-negotiable. It's the sacred space where dreams are nurtured, and the compass resets to true north.

Crafted for strong-spirited women

Luna Ray Design was born from a desire to produce art that speaks to strong-spirited, ocean-loving women.

Those who understand the power of mindfulness, the importance of hard work, and the joy of relentlessly pursuing their dreams.

My creative roots

Creativity has been my companion for as long as I can remember. My late mother, Viv, was the first to introduce me to the magic of art and the wonders of nature. Her nurturing instilled in me an innate love for the arts.

Though I initially grappled with the technical rigours of Graphic Design, the experience laid a foundation for my understanding of composition, colour, and balance. My studies in Surface Pattern & Textile Designs at the University of Hertfordshire were a turning point. They rekindled the joys of creation and helped me reconnect spiritually with my mother.
